MedTechLabs: Associated facility

About

MedTechLabs R&D lab is an associated facility, a unique lab for MedTech-Imaging prototypes and products development in a safe clinical set up. The lab is offered to academia and industry. It is situated within the Karolinska University hospital.

MedTechLabs facilitates design and execution of clinical trials in collaboration with the Karolinska Trial Alliance.

Equipment

From 2021 and ongoing: the world’s first silicon-based photon counting CT system is validated in clinical studies at MedTechLabs in collaboration with GE Healthcare.
