RCF: Radiopharmacy Core Facility

About

RCF is a combined core facility of Karolinska University Hospital (RCF-K) and Karolinska Institutet (RCF-KI). The main purpose of RCF is to facilitate and promote the use and development of radiotracers and radiopharmaceuticals in translational research, from preclinical to clinical applications within different areas. The development of novel radiotracers at RCF can be broadly applied for imaging research, for example in oncology, psychiatry, neurodegeneration, inflammation and cardiovascular diseases.

Visit the RCF website at Karolinska Institutet here.

RCF supplies existing PET tracers for preclinical and clinical PET studies within all applications for both academia and pharmaceutical industry sponsored studies. See our tracer list Tracer list RCF | Karolinska Institutet (ki.se). RCF produces novel PET tracers for preclinical and clinical PET studies within all applications for both academia and pharmaceutical industry sponsored studies. RCF users can utilize the developed tracers for biological characterizations at other CIR faciltites, such as ARG, KERIC, BMIC, and PET-MR.
